What is your therapeutic approach?
I work in an integrative and holistic way taking account of mind body and spirit in the context of lived experience and beyond.
I support you to understand yourself at a deeper level helping you to explore yourself for greater understanding of and insight into your real self.
My approach supports a deep understanding of emotions by looking at childhood and the roots of beliefs, personality and identity, seeking causes rather than focusing on symptom relief. My approach is an interactive one based on relational methodology with the sovereignty of the individual’s experience and their personal complexity at its heart.
What is Internal Family Systems Therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy is a powerfully transformative evidence based psychotherapeutic approach. It recognises that our essence functions in a pluralist way, with parts of us holding the emotions, feelings and beliefs (i.e. burdens) from past wounds and hurts in various parts of our system including our body and mind and even manifesting in physical symptoms. We work to understand the messages, conflicts, traumas and wounds that these parts of you hold and release any burdens that you might be carrying.
What is tapping?
Tapping or Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), is an intervention that draws on acupuncture principles, NLP and energy medicine. Tapping involves speaking words of affirmation and statements to get to the root of the issues, whilst simultaneously tapping meridian energy points within the body. This helps to release blocked energy and restore its nature flow whilst also calming the nervous system.
What is energy healing?
Sekhem and Reiki are essentially different frequencies of energy which assist in removing blockages and restores the natural flow of your energy. Energy healing can be done at a distance i.e. online. During a session some people experience: the flow of energy throughout their body, tingles, seeing lights/colours or other visuals, lightness/heaviness, falling asleep, immediate release of physical symptoms, feeling emotional and some people feel nothing (although this can change as a person’s sensitivity to feeling energy increases).
How many sessions will I need?
This is a difficult question to answer without having met you to explore your needs in more depth. Some issues will require fewer sessions, others still will need a much longer commitment.

Where does therapy take place?
Currently they are taking place on Zoom and via phone in some circumstances. Ordinarily they take place in London.
What other commitments do I need to make?
To ensure that you get the most value from our sessions and to ensure that therapy does not move any slower than it needs to, mutually agreeable homework will be set from time to time as appropriate. We will also discuss any other commitments, such as around confidentiality, during our initial session.
