The likelihood is that if you feel drawn to working with me, I have either been through some similar issue or my experience means that I have the capacity to be able to empathise and support you fully with whatever it is that brings you to therapy.
I have worked with Brent Carers, Anxiety UK and Kairos + working with a range of issues from stress to sexual trauma and my background is in law.
I am current working at Front Line Therapist offering culturally sensitive therapy to service users and The Awareness Centre working with a range of issues.

IFS recognises the concept of spirit/soul or essence being at the core of who we are. In IFS this is referred to as Self or Self Leadership. Our Self/Spirit/Soul is formed of various qualities to include an inner wisdom, clarity, calm, non-judgemental, creative, compassionate, loving, confident, assured etc.
Our soul/spirit which animates our body, functions in a pluralistic way rather than as a singular. The Internal Family System (IFS) view is, irrespective of our trauma or pathology, our core Self (aka soul, spirit, essence, energy)has the innate qualities of love, non-judgemental, courageous, confident, perspective, wisdom, creative, intelligent, calm amongst others. It functions not as a singular, but rather as a community within us.
I think we’ve all had that experience of when a part of us wants one thing and another part wants something else i.e., part of me wants to go out and part of me wants to stay in. The part that wants to stay in might be seeking comfort, or have a belief that outside is a dangerous place. The part that wants to go out might have a fear of missing out connected to a belief that doing so means that they are inferior.
